On August 24-27, 1980 Stanford University will host the LISP Conference.
Sunday evening August 24, 1980 there will be a reception in the
patios of xxx and yyy.
Events of
August 25 through 27th include the keynote speech by John McCarthy,
a panel discussion on LISP and its future and demonstrations of several
LISP machines. Besides the formal sessions, several informal workshops
are planned. Tuesday evening will include a banquet.
This conference marks the twenty-year anniversary of the existence of LISP.
The contributions of LISP are well-known in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
In conjunction with the LISP conference, two related conferences are being
held on the Stanford campus: Aug xx-yy is the AIM (AI in Medicine) Conference,
and Aug zz-uu is the AAAI (American Association for AI) Conference.
